This dining set is an attractive choice for any outdoor setting. The set can be finished with a quality penetrating the exterior finish, or left alone to weather to a silvery gray color. Many or most of the logs will have cracks. These cracks are called checks. Checking occurs when the logs dry and the cells shrink causing the wood to split. This does not weaken the wood. Checking helps give cedar furniture its rustic beauty. Made of northern white cedar and pine, this dining set will give years of service and enjoyment.

I love it! Only problems You can not fit an umbrella all the way through the table. I don’t know why it was made that way. Also, a piece split a little when trying to get everything to fit together. Very disappointed in this product, especially for the price tag. The wood is very light weight and soft and can't hold up to average size people leaning on the table with out the wood shifting and pieces pressing into each other.
