I wasn’t even out the gate before a robin tried it out. Several more robins came by. A nuthatch made some cautious approaches. And the birdbath is very lovely to look at.. Cecilia. Coupeville, WA. Tue Oct 13 2026

I have been wanting this for a long time and I love it!!!. Patricia. Sandston, VA. Fri Oct 16 2026

The birdbath with solar light can be used as a charming decoration to add color to your outdoor garden. It is made of high-density material which is durable for year-round use.

Decent bird bath for the price. It’s a little difficult to assemble. It looks pretty but does need weight added to the bottom so it doesn’t tip easily. Now I wait for the birds.. Paula. Leland, NC. Thu Sep 03 2026

Add a touch of elegance to the yard or garden with this pedestal bird bath. Made from frost- and UV-resistant ceramic to resist the outdoor elements, this decorative bird bath features a vibrant jade green finish for a sleek and stylish look. The bowl is capable of holding up to 2.5 gallons so there is plenty of water for feathered friends to splash and preen. Beautiful bird bath, very deep basin. I placed 2”x3” and 3”x4” river rocks in the basin to ensure smaller birds had something to stand on. Very nice value for the money.. Jonelle. Sacramento, CA. Mon Aug 10 2026

Sun Pottery Classic Bird Bath has a unique, strong, locking device (not plastic). All Alcott Hill® glazed pottery and bird baths are fired in gas kilns. These are significantly more environmentally friendly than the large, standard, wood-fired "Dragon" kilns used by most of Alcott Hill® competitors. The "Dragon" kilns burn a huge amount of rubber wood at each firing which is very bad for the environment and doesn't provide even firing for the product. Alcott Hill® gas Kilns ensure more even colors and better quality products because the temperature is controllable; unlike that in the wood-fired kilns. Durable frostproof construction (up to 32 degrees F.).

Wonderful addition to our front landscaping. Very attractive.. Judith. Bostic, NC. Sat Sep 26 2026

Exactly as described and pictured. Exactly what I wanted. I was a bit uneasy about purchasing a concrete bath that was to be shipped. The bath was so well-wrapped that it arrived in perfect condition. Very happy customer.. Trudy. Lockport, IL. Sun Sep 06 2026

The birdbath is beautiful! However, it is very light weight. I had to fill it with water and use grounding stakes to hold it down…just happened to be a very windy day when I received it. My husband said it is too deep, that I will drown the birds…LOL. I will keep it because it is very pretty and will drain some of the water.. Anonymous. US. Fri May 15 2026

The classic pedestal bird bath, light enough to carry to wherever the birds are. The Backyard Expressions bird bath is cast in weather-resistant polyresin with an antiqued silver finish, so it has the shape of the garden bird baths everyone recognizes at a fraction of the weight of stone or cast iron — about six pounds, moved in one trip. The 20-inch basin is broad and shallow, with room for several birds at once: robins and cardinals at the edge, a finch bathing in the middle. Ground stakes anchor the base against wind, and the hollow pedestal can be filled with rocks or sand for extra weight. The bowl twists off for a quick tip and rinse, and the three pieces go back together without tools. At 30 inches tall it stands above low plantings and reads from a window. Empty the bowl before a hard freeze and bring it in for winter, and it is ready to go back out in spring. For moving water, the Backyard Expressions solar bird bath pairs this same style of pedestal with a solar-powered fountain.

Very Lightweight, which I think is helpful for being able to tip over to dump the water out and refresh. Also, if you end up wanting to move it around the yard, it being lighter makes that a lot easier. Like other reviews have stated, I ended up putting sand in the post section while putting it together. I think it did help give a little more stability. It includes 3 stakes to secure it to the ground. Depending on the space you're putting it in, it may not feel super secure. Have had a few windier days, and it's held up nicely. If you're looking for a lower price point birdbath that has a nice look to it, this may be the new addition needed for your garden space.. Danielle. Waterville, ME. Fri May 08 2026

This Birdbath is unlike anything you've ever seen! With the beauty of ceramic and the durability of fiber clay, it will add elegance and function to any garden. It is recommended to store in an enclosed area or indoors during cold temperatures. The finish on the bowl provides UV protection as well as easy clean-up and reduces staining. Clever design the hollow base can be weighted with sand for extra stability. Bowl is threaded and screwed into the base holding it secure. Quick and easy assembly. The perfect gift for the bird lover on your list! Actual product color may vary from the images shown, due to dye lot changes. Made of 60% Clay, 35% Plastic, and 5% Fiber.

I thought it might be heavier but turned out to be pretty ok. I hope it stays the color and doesn’t fade.. Steven. Wendell, NC. Sun Aug 09 2026
