Sun Pottery Classic Bird Bath has a unique, strong, locking device (not plastic). All Alcott Hill® glazed pottery and bird baths are fired in gas kilns. These are significantly more environmentally friendly than the large, standard, wood-fired "Dragon" kilns used by most of Alcott Hill® competitors. The "Dragon" kilns burn a huge amount of rubber wood at each firing which is very bad for the environment and doesn't provide even firing for the product. Alcott Hill® gas Kilns ensure more even colors and better quality products because the temperature is controllable; unlike that in the wood-fired kilns. Durable frostproof construction (up to 32 degrees F.).

Wonderful addition to our front landscaping. Very attractive.. Judith. Bostic, NC. Sat Sep 26 2026

The classic pedestal bird bath, light enough to carry to wherever the birds are. The Backyard Expressions bird bath is cast in weather-resistant polyresin with an antiqued silver finish, so it has the shape of the garden bird baths everyone recognizes at a fraction of the weight of stone or cast iron — about six pounds, moved in one trip. The 20-inch basin is broad and shallow, with room for several birds at once: robins and cardinals at the edge, a finch bathing in the middle. Ground stakes anchor the base against wind, and the hollow pedestal can be filled with rocks or sand for extra weight. The bowl twists off for a quick tip and rinse, and the three pieces go back together without tools. At 30 inches tall it stands above low plantings and reads from a window. Empty the bowl before a hard freeze and bring it in for winter, and it is ready to go back out in spring. For moving water, the Backyard Expressions solar bird bath pairs this same style of pedestal with a solar-powered fountain.

Very Lightweight, which I think is helpful for being able to tip over to dump the water out and refresh. Also, if you end up wanting to move it around the yard, it being lighter makes that a lot easier. Like other reviews have stated, I ended up putting sand in the post section while putting it together. I think it did help give a little more stability. It includes 3 stakes to secure it to the ground. Depending on the space you're putting it in, it may not feel super secure. Have had a few windier days, and it's held up nicely. If you're looking for a lower price point birdbath that has a nice look to it, this may be the new addition needed for your garden space.. Danielle. Waterville, ME. Fri May 08 2026

Transform the garden into a serene oasis with an exquisite metal bird bath. Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, this bird bath is a true masterpiece of form and function. Its iron construction not only exudes durability but also adds an elegant touch to any outdoor space, creating a focal point that's both inviting and visually stunning. The UV-protected and rust-resistant finish is a testament to its longevity and low-maintenance nature. This means the bird bath will remain vibrant even when exposed to the elements. Place the outdoor bird bath bowl in a shaded location to prevent the metal bowl from heating too much in the sun. This bird bath isn't just a decorative addition; it's an open invitation to nature's finest visitors. Birds of all kinds will flock to enjoy a refreshing splash or a leisurely drink, adding a delightful symphony of chirps and colors to any garden. It's a tranquil haven for both feathered friends and garden enthusiasts alike. Let this metal bird bath be the centerpiece of any outdoor sanctuary, a place where nature and artistry seamlessly converge.

This bowl with a wrought iron Short Stand is striking as a low birdbath, or table centerpiece. Place it on a deck or table, a pedestal in the garden. The small three-footed wrought iron stand is perfect for rock gardens, low-border plantings, and tabletop decor. Fill it with floating flowers and candles for catering and garden parties.

I got the cobalt blue, and it’s gorgeous. However, it doesn’t sit firmly in the stand so a fox or raccoon keep knocking it over. Still, I like it very much and would buy again.. Simian. Lincoln, NE. Tue Jul 14 2026
