A unique curved bolster supports the professional pinch grip, with thumb and index finger on the blade, for safe cutting and less fatigue. The blade was redesigned with a broader curve in the front to facilitate the rocking motion of Western cutting, while the straight back is ideal for the Asian chopping motion. The full length of the blade can be used when cutting and can be sharpened from bolster to tip Designed in Italy by Matteo Thun and made in Germany by Zwilling J.A. I love my new German stainless steel knives! All my knives are dull and though I have tried to sharpen them, my results have not been great. These knives, however, are gloriously sharp! Last weekend, I needed to slice vegetables and finely chop cilantro. I am so used to working with a dull knife that I used too much effort to cur odd the top of a bell pepper. The knife moved like lightening, and I almost cut my thumb off! It was so sharp that the slice did not even hurt. So, please be careful using your knives. Do not do what I did! My photos are not too gory and they are my cautionary tale. I have used both knives for vegetables and tofu. Dinner prep goes much faster now that I no longer chop my fingers or thumb! I highly recommend these knives, and I wish I had smaller ones from the same line.. Lee. Pullman, WA. Fri Sep 04 2026

High-carbon CR17 stainless steel blade. To boost its sturdiness, the steel contains 0.6-0.75 carbon. This makes it two times as hard as other knives in its class, as they contain about 0.3% carbon. Beautiful pattern: the special waved pattern blade is particularly striking (CR17 stainless steel kitchen knives, not real Damascus). Your investment is fully guaranteed. We offer a lifetime warranty and return policy. Ultra-sharp edge: it features an HRC (Rockwell hardness scale) of 57-58, which makes it among the toughest knives in its class. The thickness of this kitchen knife is 2.5mm. Ergonomically shaped handle: The blade of this chef knife is seamlessly integrated with the soft and comfortable Pakkawood handle, creating a perfect grip. The ergonomic shape strikes the right balance between the handle and the thin blade, ensuring ease of movement.

STARTER SET - Includes 4.5" Utility Knife, 8" Bread Knife and 8" Chef's Knife

Very sharp. High quality. Very satisfied with my purchase.. Margaret N.. Sun Sep 27 2026

The stainless-steel blades of the 14-piece Chef Knife Set Professional by Classic Cuisine are colored with a food-safe, stick-resistant coating for easy cutting. Not only do the vivid colors on this colored cutlery set add life to your kitchen, but they also help you remember which knife was used on meats and vegetables, helping prevent cross-contamination while cooking. The sharp knife set includes an 8-inch chef’s knife, an 8-inch bread knife, an 8-inch slicing knife, a 6-inch Santoku knife, a 5.5-inch serrated utility knife, a 5-inch utility knife, a 3.5-inch paring knife, and 7 sheaths for each knife for safe storing.

They’re cute. I haven’t used them yet, but I am concerned that the coloring will come off on the food. I should’ve thought of that before ordering.. Jamie. North Brookfield, MA. Mon May 18 2026
