There is no safer and better way to cook than a set of pans like these. You never have to worry about getting cancer with these. I have bought the most expensive, highly rated no stick pans and after a few years use, they ALL started to peal and scratch, even using the proper tools. These pans I treat like my cast iron pans of over 30 yrs. old. The first time I used them, I cleaned like my cast iron. It took about 8 uses but after that, the eggs slip right out. I never use soap on them, just a stainless steel scrubber with some salt and oil and than put a light coat of oil on them before I put away. If there is burnt on food, I put some water in them and let them sit while I eat and all I need to get the cooked on food off, is my stainless steel scrubber and they clean just as well as any non stick. I love them and the will last for years. A lot longer than any non stick.. Cathy. Wisconsin. Wed Oct 15 2025

The 14" Skillet with Helper Handle is an easy choice for browning and frying large batches of food because it's induction ready and boasts measurement markings for ease of use. The helper handle also makes it easy to transport a skillet loaded with delicious food.

I was looking for a pan to roast whole tomatoes primarily, and fry other foods in general. My wife already has 10 and 11 inch pans, but when cooking large amounts they can sometimes be a bit too small. Also, our old pans are showing their age, with the bases no longer entirely flat. So I wanted something over 12 inches. I also wanted genuine stainless steel for longevity and, based on our experience with other pots we have I wanted the Tri-Ply base. Full-clad Tri-Ply pans are available, but we have no experience with them and the cost is high. Wayfair was the only store in which I saw this big 14 inch pan and their free shipping to Miami was a plus since it would be freight forwarded down to the Caribbean and I have to pay import duties. The lack of a cover wasn't a problem because as you can see from the photos my wife has a good glass cover that fit perfectly. The skillet was double boxed as shown, and there was no damage to the pan. As shown in the photos it is big, but sits comfortably on the GE gas stove. My wife fried a pot of Caraili (bitter gourd) on medium heat on the GE power burner and it came out great. Yes, the handle does extend quite a bit, but our stove area was designed with extra space to allow sweeping and mopping without having to move the stove, so this isn't an issue. The handle itself is a bit narrow, and I think the pan would have been better off with two of the square handles instead of this long one. I've given it a 5-star rating up to this point. We haven't gotten around to roasting a pan full of whole tomatoes for ~30 minutes. That will be the real test, especially the cleanup part of the job, because that's where all our non-stick pans have faltered in the past.. Anonymous. Fri Jul 10 2026

Calphalon Premier Stainless Steel 10 Inch Fry Pan. Designed for home chefs who value quality and performance, the Calphalon Premier Stainless Steel 10 Inch Fry Pan is built for precision cooking and lasting durability.

It does the job well enough. But it’s a learning curve when used to non-stick pans as you have to let it heat up properly first. However, once you do this, it does a great job. One issue I have is I have to use a cleaner (Bar Keepers Friend) to get the stains out. Otherwise it’s fine.. Samuel Frank. Vandalia, OH. Sat Jun 06 2026

Best fry pans ever and easy to clean.. Easter C. Montgomery, TX. Sat Jul 04 2026

Safe from metal utensils, Viking Hybrid Plus Tri-Ply Nonstick Ceramic Fry Pans are made without PFAS for healthy, non-toxic cooking. These pans are a mix of a traditional stainless-steel fry pan and a nonstick fry pan, making them ideal for searing, sautéing, and browning while still delivering easy cleanup. Viking Hybrid Plus cookware is coated with an advanced double-layer ceramic nonstick coating that features superior release while being made without PFAS. The innovative design of the cooking surface features a raised diamond tread pattern that sits just above the nonstick coating. The raised stainless-steel pattern protects the nonstick coating from scratching, making this pan ideal for use with metal utensils. You never need to worry about what utensil you or anyone in your house uses – the scratch-resistant nonstick is protected. The 3-ply clad construction delivers professional quality heat transfer. Both made of stainless steel, the exterior steel layer is induction-capable while the interior steel layer is 304 non-reactive surgical grade stainless. Sandwiched between these layers is a layer of aluminum that helps to conduct the heat evenly through both the bottom and walls of the pan. Together, the three layers make this pan more efficient when cooking. The Viking 3-Ply Hybrid plus line is oven safe to 500°F. The fry pan is finished with rolled rims for drip-free pouring. The signature Viking ergonomic handles are riveted in place and fully cast stainless for a lifetime of use. Each handle is equipped with a heat break to help them stay-cool during use and a finger guide for easy lifting and control. For best results, use a little oil or butter when cooking eggs or other liquid based foods. Be sure to use lower heat and allow the food to cook into a solid form before turning it with a spatula and you will have better results. It is best to cook on low to medium heat for best the best release. Never use aerosol nonstick sprays with these pans as it will reduce the life of the nonstick. The Hybrid Plus pans are dishwasher safe, but we highly recommend hand washing to extend the life of the nonstick performance of the cookware.

I’m really pleased with my 4 quart chef’s pan. The size is perfect for my family and we like the way the pan covers the eye on the stove. Glass covers are also a favorite in our kitchen so we can check the simmer without letting heat out.. Laure West. Sat Dec 06 2025

This 9.5"+11" hybrid pan features a laser-etched hexagonal nonstick surface stainless steel for superior searing and easy cleaning; its tri-ply aluminum core ensures fast, even heating, works on all cooktops including induction, is metal utensil‑safe, dishwasher‑friendly, oven‑safe up to 500°F, and is the ideal everyday size for meals for two, solo dishes, or sauteed vegetables

These frying pans are very well made and have a nice, heavy, sturdy feel to them. They definitely seem to be good quality and built to last and they give you instructions on how to properly take care of them to have them last longer. One thing to be aware of is that the handles do not come attached, so you will need to screw them on yourself. Assembly was simple, but I wasn't expecting to have to do that. My only real complaint was the delay in shipping, as they took longer than expected to arrive. Other than that, everything was very nice, and I am pleased with the overall quality and appearance of the pans. Looking forward to putting them to good use! (Pictures do not do them justice). Clad from 5 layers of metal for even heating and expert searing, this Award-Winning chef favorite lasts a lifetime. Meet a true kitchen workhorse. Crafted in Italy from 5 layers of metal, the Stainless Clad Frying Pan delivers a durable, easy-to-clean cooking surface with superior heat conduction and distribution. This 5-ply construction means far more searing and flavor-building, and far fewer hot spots and burnt-on messes. The Frying Pan yields crusty butter-basted steaks, pan sauces that come together faster, and crispier, lacier edges on perfectly fried eggs. The curvature of the walls is calculated for deeper searing and easier flipping, while a rolled rim allows you to pthe sauces without spilling. The hollow build of the proprietary Stay Cool Handle dissipates heat to keep it from getting scalding hot while on the stovetop. This means the heat stays on the ingredients, not the hands.
