Three-stage system provides professional results at home by sharpening kitchen and sports knives quickly and easily. Adjustable blade selector provides optimum sharpening angles. The blade selector adjusts the guides to the perfect angle needed for precision sharpening. Select thick for hunting knives, medium for chef's knives and standard kitchen knives, and thin for light blades like fillet or paring knives. Simply draw the knife through each slot a few times to achieve a razor-sharp edge. Stage 1 begins the sharpening process with a Sapphirite coarse-grinding wheel to create the proper angle. Stage 2 continues sharpening with a Sapphirite medium-grinding wheel giving the blade a precise edge. Stage 3 completes the process with an extra fine-grit ceramic wheel polishing the blade to an exact, razor-sharp edge.

It is not only professional chefs who rely on sharp knives. Through frequent use, however, even the most expensive chef’s knives, vegetable or meat knives lose sharpness and need re-sharpening. With the right tool, anyone can sharpen their knives themselves. For this purpose, Zwilling has various sharpening sheets of steel that will bring your knife gently and reliably back to its former glory. The Zwilling sharpening steel with an oval plastic handle will bring your knife back to its former sharpness. With its blade made of highly carbonized and hard chrome-plated steel, this 31 cm sharpening steel is recommended for sharpening all your knives. The oval black plastic handle with a hanging hole is comfortable to hold and won’t slip. This contributes to the ease of use of the sharpening steel. With a hardness of approximately 62 HRC, these sharpening steels are relatively insensitive to damage. After you have sharpened the blades on the Zwilling sharpening steel your knives are ready for any cutting jobs: This product helps you to hone your knives and is a useful tool that will complete your kitchen equipment.

Very nice sharpener! Would recommend.. Kenneth. Bishop, CA. Sun Dec 01 2019

Haiku, the traditional knife-line by Chroma Cutlery, Inc. Haiku knives are manufactured in small Japanese knife factories out of high-grade modern steel. Borrowing from an ancient method, a bamboo peg (''mekugi'') is inserted from the side into every Haiku knife where the tang and handle are joined for added stability. Traditional sword smiths in Japan use this time-tested technique when crafting swords like those once used by the samurai of medieval Japan. Haiku - the Japanese knife with the honoki-wood handle.

Bring dull knives back to confident cutting A dull knife can slow down prep, tear instead of slice, and make even familiar tasks feel less controlled. The Chef'sChoice Model 320 Electric Knife Sharpener gives you a guided way to restore a sharper edge on 20-degree class straight-edge and serrated knives without needing to master manual sharpening technique. Its compact electric design fits easily on the counter, so it is ready when your kitchen knives, household knives, or everyday utility blades start losing their bite. Instead of guessing at angle or pressure, you draw the knife through precision guides that help position and steady the blade for a more consistent result. Stage 1 uses 100% diamond abrasives to create the first bevel efficiently. Stage 2 hones and polishes the second bevel, leaving an arch-shaped edge designed for strength, control, and longer-lasting performance in everyday use. The result is a sharper knife that feels more capable the next time you slice vegetables, portion meat, cut crusty bread, or refresh a frequently used pocket or sporting knife. Guided angle control helps deliver a consistent edge with less guesswork. 100% diamond abrasives shape and refine efficiently for fast, repeatable sharpening. Two stages build, hone, and polish the edge for a stronger arch-shaped finish. Compact electric design stores easily and stays secure on the work surface during sharpening. Use the Chef'sChoice Model 320 Electric Knife Sharpener when your 20-degree class straight-edge and serrated knives begin to drag, crush, or slip instead of cutting cleanly. Chef'sChoice backs Model 320 with a Three-Year Limited Warranty, giving you added confidence in daily ownership and long-term support. THE PERFECT EDGE. MADE EFFORTLESS.

Once upon I time I could sharpen my knifes to razor sharpness by hand. Decades later my hands are no longer steady enough to do that. I spent 10 minutes reading the instructions and then ten minutes getting two 8" knives sharper than I could do it by hand. After using it a few more times I'll be able to get a knife sharp in under a minute. Seriously, I think I'll be able to sharpen a knife as fast as a professional chef does with one of their sharpening rods.
