As several other reviews have mentioned, the assembly while straightforward is a little tricky. The couch arrives in three different boxes. One box has the bench seat which contains the legs and cushions inside the bottom of it. You will need two people minimum to assemble this couch. Once you lineup, the pieces like the arm and the seat you will have to push down, but you won’t see it going in so you have to line it up really well before you start pushing it in. it’s easy to get one side in and then not get the other side in. for the first arm attachment, we stood the seat up on its end, making it easier. with two people it took about 30 minutes to unpack it and assemble it. The legs look OK but they’re just inexpensive plastic so they’re not that beautiful. You might want to replace them with custom legs. Luckily there are lots of places that sell really cool furniture legs if you want something nicer. I think the couch is very comfortable. It has a generous size seat. It is a firmer couch, but the wide arms are really comfy to lean on and it’s comfortable when you stretch out on it. It looks really great. The fabric is nice and the pillows are very high-quality. Unfortunately, this couch was not what I expected based on the photos. There was no product description or previous reviews available when I purchased it, so I was relying almost entirely on how the couch was presented in the pictures. The couch appeared plush, soft, and comfortable online, but in person it is extremely firm and not nearly as plush as it looks. The material is also much rougher and less soft than I expected. Another disappointment was the construction. The height of the arm rest was very low, and the frame of the couch was not sturdy. The photos made the couch appear more seamless, but once it arrived i noticed there would be sections/joints, just from the size of the box it was brought in, and it was, in fact, a jointed couch. Since there was very little information available before purchasing, I took a chance based on the photos, but unfortunately the actual couch did not match my expectations in terms of comfort, material, or overall appearance.. Couch is extremely well made…all fabric seams are straight and frame is solid. It is firm for seating but not unforgiving or uncomfortable..I feel it will hold up well. Fabric is a blue gray pillow ticking and high quality. I sprayed with Scotchgard but think spills would roll off anyway. Delivery was great: two guys moved my old couch for me then unpacked and put the new one in place. From what I explored at local stores I feel this couch was a good buy!. Nancy Justine. I ordered the Hokku Designs Cloud Couch for our new home and I am obsessed!! We’ve been using it for ~3 weeks now and we love it! The couch is low seating, but we knew that going in and we don’t mind it at all. It’s very comfortable.. perfect for naps. We love being able to comfortably fit multiple people, and being able to move the ottoman is great when you need extra seating or more leg room. Building the couch took about an hour, and the cushion covers were easy to put on. The ottoman is the perfect space to store blankets when we’re not using them. We are loving this couch so far!. The assembly went well. The color is a darker gray, although it did say taupe. We’re keeping it for the fact that it’s still matches in our room. This chair replaced a loveseat that we didn’t need anymore. It accommodate a taller person with longer legs due to the dimensions of the cushion from knee to hip. it is a little lower to the ground than I anticipated, but it is doable.
