I really like the look of this jewelry stand. It is a bit short, so make sure you check the specifications to make sure it will work for you. I took a picture with one of my longest necklaces and one of my shortest necklaces for reference. I dont believe the base is a real stone, but it is heavy. On the bottom there are two stickers. One is for California prop 65 and the other sticker says that its made with safe paint. I think those two things might be contradictory. This is such a beautiful addition to our walk in closet. The dresser seems pretty well made. I wish the light was rechargeable and cordless rather than plug in because we don't have an outlet in the closet. But we will resolve that. Overall we are super happy with this piece... Erika.
