I love the chairs, but I will admit that I have to get used to the fact that they do not automatically return to their original position when you stand up! Very nice looking counter stools. They seem very sturdy and are comfortable. I took a star off only because the fabric is not quite tight enough and I find I am smoothing out a little wrinkle now and then but I don't think most would find it a dealbreaker. Also, there were a couple of flaws (scratches or little gouges) in the wood on the side of one seat but they are not easily seen and I think with a little bit of sandpaper it will be gone. Sturdy and stylish. Have great ergonomic tilt for a comfortable sit. Even more comfortable with a pillow for longer sits. One thing we do not like - bottom where post meets seat looks janky when viewing stools from a seated couch position. We stuffed black garbage bags to close the gap and make less noticeable.
