Sturdy and stylish. Have great ergonomic tilt for a comfortable sit. Even more comfortable with a pillow for longer sits. One thing we do not like - bottom where post meets seat looks janky when viewing stools from a seated couch position. We stuffed black garbage bags to close the gap and make less noticeable. We LOVE our new bar stools! We bought a new house with a really high counter and it needed stools. Our counter is 47 inches tall and we bought the 36 inch stools. At first, I was thinking they were too high, but after we got used to it, we are comfortable eating in this arrangement. I still would probably take two inches off if I could but my husband and I use them for every meal. We also bought a new dining set but we’ve only used it when we have visitors. These stools are super sturdy and well made. Definitely recommend!. Deborah. Cincinnati, OH. Thu Jan 29 2026
