[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m so impressed with the ROME + OAK Ruxban Counter Stool! The package arrived securely boxed with all parts intact. As a seasoned DIYer, I found the assembly straightforward, and the included instruction booklet and tool made putting it together a breeze. The quality of this stool is exceptional. It’s solid, sturdy, and built from genuine hardwood, paired with a beautiful, high-end vegan leather finish that looks and feels luxurious. What I Loved: Stunning Design: It looks gorgeous at the counter, and I’m already planning to buy more to complete the set. Memory Return Swivel: The swivel feature is fantastic—it automatically rotates back to its original position, keeping the space looking neat. Comfort & Size: The generous 19.75" seat size offers plenty of room and comfort, making it great for larger individuals or long sit-downs. Great Investment: A high-quality piece of furniture that feels built to last. Minor Room for Improvement: Assembly Tip: It would be helpful if "Piece B" were labeled to indicate top vs. bottom, which would shave off a couple of extra minutes during setup. Floor Protection: It doesn't come with felt pads for the feet, so I’d recommend picking up a cheap pack to prevent the legs from scratching hardwood floors. Overall, this stool is a fantastic investment, and I couldn't be happier with it!. We LOVE our new bar stools! We bought a new house with a really high counter and it needed stools. Our counter is 47 inches tall and we bought the 36 inch stools. At first, I was thinking they were too high, but after we got used to it, we are comfortable eating in this arrangement. I still would probably take two inches off if I could but my husband and I use them for every meal. We also bought a new dining set but we’ve only used it when we have visitors. These stools are super sturdy and well made. Definitely recommend!. Deborah. Cincinnati, OH. Thu Jan 29 2026

Very comfortable and easy to clean spills. They are light weight so you have to brace the base to spin the stool to get into it, and for the extra tall you have to be careful getting out so it doesn't shoot out from under you. This unique take on a stool combined with a chair invites you to stay a while. And the base includes footrest, adjustable height and chromed steel construction. The Rudy makes your establishment look really well established.

Sturdy and stylish. Have great ergonomic tilt for a comfortable sit. Even more comfortable with a pillow for longer sits. One thing we do not like - bottom where post meets seat looks janky when viewing stools from a seated couch position. We stuffed black garbage bags to close the gap and make less noticeable. (See pics) Would be better if manufacturer added some sort of custom black foam insert. Otherwise, happy with the purchase.. Danielle. Austin, TX. Tue Feb 22 2022

Needed two counter stools in red and black and these were just the ticket! They are very sturdy and the cushion is comfortable and just the right color of red! Assembly was easy according to my husband. The only thing I would say is that I have a little trouble reaching the bottom foot support and I am fairly tall. But they really helped to complete our newly renovated kitchen and we are very happy with them!. Lois. East Berlin, PA. Sun Jun 30 2024
