[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m so impressed with the ROME + OAK Ruxban Counter Stool! The package arrived securely boxed with all parts intact. As a seasoned DIYer, I found the assembly straightforward, and the included instruction booklet and tool made putting it together a breeze. The quality of this stool is exceptional. It’s solid, sturdy, and built from genuine hardwood, paired with a beautiful, high-end vegan leather finish that looks and feels luxurious. What I Loved: Stunning Design: It looks gorgeous at the counter, and I’m already planning to buy more to complete the set. Memory Return Swivel: The swivel feature is fantastic—it automatically rotates back to its original position, keeping the space looking neat. Comfort & Size: The generous 19.75" seat size offers plenty of room and comfort, making it great for larger individuals or long sit-downs. Great Investment: A high-quality piece of furniture that feels built to last. Minor Room for Improvement: Assembly Tip: It would be helpful if "Piece B" were labeled to indicate top vs. bottom, which would shave off a couple of extra minutes during setup. Floor Protection: It doesn't come with felt pads for the feet, so I’d recommend picking up a cheap pack to prevent the legs from scratching hardwood floors. Overall, this stool is a fantastic investment, and I couldn't be happier with it!. Very nice looking counter stools. They seem very sturdy and are comfortable. I took a star off only because the fabric is not quite tight enough and I find I am smoothing out a little wrinkle now and then but I don't think most would find it a dealbreaker. Also, there were a couple of flaws (scratches or little gouges) in the wood on the side of one seat but they are not easily seen and I think with a little bit of sandpaper it will be gone. Overall, I am happy with the purchase and I would buy them again.. Rosemary. Farmington, NY. Sun Jun 21 2020

Nice chair. Good fabric, lighter than advertised, but I like it. Good quality wood, nicely finished UNTIL the final leg cut. (See pictures.) I will have to touch those up. Very firm seat and back. Arms are too low for both of us (we are 5’6” and 6’.) There were no instructions, and it should be noted that the seat must be positioned correctly. Otherwise (as we found) it tilts A LOT to one side. Also, the washers are too large; we could not use them. However, overall, OK at this price. I will keep them.. Anonymous. Tue Dec 23 2025
