This bench was exactly what I was looking for. The color was as shown in the pictures. It is a beautiful, deep mahogany with no scratches, cracks or other issues. It is a good size for my entryway — not too big as to overpower the hall but big enough for two to sit comfortably. Very sturdy. I put it together on my own in less than two hours. Built with 15mm thick MDF and reinforced with four back plates, this bench ensures lasting stability and everyday durability.

The storage bench is cute, and fit in my space perfectly. I like the color a lot. Unfortunately it came damaged at the top corner, which of course is showing in an obvious place, couldn't be in a place that isn't showing, right? Wayfair offered a discount, but that doesn't fix it. The pad on top is fine, the material of the cover is very thin and flimsy, kind of like a very light linen. Can easily change it if I can find the right size. Overall, I would probably give this 3.5 stars, but I rounded up to 4.. Francine. North Grafton, MA. Mon Aug 24 2026

I love my new bench for my entry way in my house, a nice wooden addition to my home.. Anonymous. Sat Jan 18 2025

Crafted from solid wood, this versatile entryway bench combines timeless farmhouse style with practical everyday storage. The spacious 63-inch seat offers a comfortable place to sit while changing shoes, and the lower shelf keeps footwear or daily essentials neatly organized. Built with a sturdy frame and rustic wood grain finish, this shoe storage bench works beautifully in the entryway, hallway, bedroom, dining room, or at the end of the bed, adding both warmth and functionality to your home.

The bench is beautiful, and the colour is just like the photo. However, when people sit on the bench especially the middle, it sinks quite a bit and looks very weak. We will have to buy a piece of wood or something to put in the middle to help this which is discouraging considering the price we paid. We feel returning this bench and replacing it with something different is more effort than adding a piece of wood but if I could go back in time, I wouldn't have gotten this bench knowing what I know now..
