This bench was made by hand in India. It was created by local village weavers who first weave the fabric, making it to the exact dimensions needed and then upholster onto the handmade sheesham wood frame.

Better than expected; the woven top is so cute and the color of the wood is a rich medium brown which matches well with my cherry furniture. Solid weight as well so it won’t tip over easily . This bench arrived fully assembled and worked well for the smaller space by our door. The slats over the drawers have no barrier, so if you set shoes on them, any debris could fall into the drawers, which is a bad choice in design. Other than that, it is heavy and well made..
