We have a shoeless house so this small benchshoe organizer is perfect without being in the way. It would hold 8 pairs of my size 7 shoes or 6 of my BFs size 10.5. Only his flip flops will fit on top (my sneakers and low heels fit fine). High heels or don’t fit here and I doubt men’s size 11 or larger would fit. The cushion is loose and optional. We will likely add an adhesive if we don’t swap out. I addd contact paper inside to help with wear and tear. I am seriously in love with this bench. Not only is it very modern and up-to-date looking, but the storage inside is wonderful for all the pictures that I’m going through for each of my six kids. I had something big and bulky in my hallway and you couldn’t even hardly move down the hallway, but this slim guy with his beautiful decor is a much nicer option for a hallway. It was super easy to assemble, even with one arm due to my handicap, It just took several hours, but for the average person, you’ll get it together in less than an hour for sure.
