Very straightforward and easy to set up. I connected the two to capture spillover and it worked! Simple to attach hoses for watering items 50’ plus away. Low water pressure but that is expected. The mesh so far has been successful at preventing mosquito larvae from establishing. I actually ordered two more so that I could harvest 200 gallons of rain water when the freak storms hit. Only thing that would make these better would be a lighter color. The opening at the top allows for more open air catchment since i dont want to catch from our older roof tops. Both are set up on bases to help support them. Took a bit for enough rain to collect to make the barrels heavy enough to withstand our high windows. Arrived surpringly quick. They arrived within 2 days! I was very happy about that. They look sturdy and seem like they'll work really well. Mixed review on this rain barrel because I love the way it looks, the planter on top is super cool, and it worked great for a couple of months but then the part that attaches the hose to the barrel almost disintegrated and the hose no longer stays in.
