This was even better looking than I thought it would be. It looks beautiful. However, customers should know that there is no opening for a diverter hose from a downspout. And there are no instructions for setting up other than the spigots. It seems like it is designed to just sit anywhere and gather rain, which would take forever. The rain barrel looks as nice as the pictures. The mesh to keep the bugs out does not fits snuggly snuggly and I will need to add aluminum screen. There are two round cut outs near the top at the back of the rain barrel and I assume that’s for venting air as the barrel fills as well as when water is dispensed. Or I suppose it could be for overflow There was no diagram of the rain barrel explaining all the nuances. I love this rain barrel! Of course, as soon as we installed it, it didn’t rain for almost a month! But when it finally did rain, it filled up fast! I just ordered my second one! It was very easy to install. The only negative things I can say is 1) The top planter was misshaped, but once I put dirt and flowers in it, it fixed itself. There was not a problem flipping it and putting the top on without the planter side up. 2) It seems like when the barrel is filled to the top, the plants sit in muddy water. Great water catcher that looks pretty without being an eyesore. Easy to put together. My only issue is the white is not pure write.
