Not all rain barrels are created equal. The Ivy Rain Barrel provides a new era of design innovation for an economical price. All components are included to start collecting and using your rainwater.

I selected rain barrels carefully, and purchased the Ivy barrels . They are very efficient, made of good quality materials and are streamlined to fit elegantly into my simple landscaping plan . I bought two, that were set up next to each other for an effective overflow with storage aspect . The attached hoses also support irrigation. They may be a little bit more expensive than other rain barrels on the wayfair market , but still reasonably priced, and I prefer the quality and durability of these barrels.. Iris. Wimberley, TX. Our 55-gallon barrels are a great “Neutral” color that looks nice with green plants and trees in your garden. They hide well behind deciduous trees and bushes, and won’t clash with any color house. The 55-gallon barrels are very popular with customers who would like to paint their rain barrels. They are perfect for the sky and water of any landscape picture Heavy-duty screening keeps mosquitoes out. Our rain barrels are uniquely designed with plastic fittings that match the rate of expansion and contraction of barrel plastic from season to season to avoid leakage. These rain barrels are repurposed from pre-used overseas food barrels. There may be slight scratching or scuffs due to previous overseas transportation. Since our rain barrels are made of High-Density Polyethylene Plastic they can be left outdoors even in the winter months so there is no need to modify your downspouts in the Spring and Fall. The exact shape of the barrels may vary due to availability but the color and size remain true. Because these barrels were originally used to transport food, there may be residual food product odor. The residual odor will dissipate after a few full barrel-filling cycles. We use a pH-balanced, environmentally friendly soap when cleaning so that the water gathered can immediately be used on plants without harm. These barrels keep difficult to break down plastics from adding bulk to landfills and also contain and repurpose stormwater.

Works as intended. Holds lots of rain water for the garden. Would like to get a second for front yard.. Chelsea. Denver, CO. Sun Aug 30 2026

I really like this rain barrel. The green color is more muted than in the picture. It’s more of a gray-green than olive green. I have two of these - the first is connected to the gutter downspout and the overflow tube on that one is connected to the second barrel. The first barrel is elevated above the second. Looking forward to seeing how these perform over the summer!. Kathryn. Minneapolis, MN. Tue May 05 2026

And since it's weather-, mildew-, and warp-resistant, it's ready to live in your outdoor space.

The rain barrel looks as nice as the pictures. The mesh to keep the bugs out does not fits snuggly snuggly and I will need to add aluminum screen. There are two round cut outs near the top at the back of the rain barrel and I assume that’s for venting air as the barrel fills as well as when water is dispensed. Or I suppose it could be for overflow There was no diagram of the rain barrel explaining all the nuances. I’m concerned mosquitos will find these holes as well as the two holes at the top of the barrel in the channel near where the water is collected.. Paula. Fort Worth, TX. Sun May 17 2026

The Heritage 50 Gallon Rain Barrel represents a new evolution in decorative rainwater collection, bringing the character and detail of traditional barrel craftsmanship into a durable modern design. Its story began with an original wooden barrel handcrafted by a skilled cooper, with individual staves, natural grain, knots, cracks, hoops and rivet details carefully selected and shaped for an authentic appearance. Precision tooling then captured those distinctive surface details, allowing the finished resin barrel to preserve the character and imperfections of the handcrafted original. Designed to be as functional as it is distinctive, the Heritage stores up to 50 gallons of rainwater for gardens, planters and outdoor watering. The integrated planter top features a deep planting area for flowers and greenery, while a separate rear collection zone and molded water-routing path help direct incoming rainwater away from the planted section. A corrosion-proof screen guard helps block leaves and debris from entering stored water. A brass spigot provides convenient water access, a separate lower nozzle with shut-off valve supports drainage and hose use, and overflow outlets allow multiple barrels to be linked for additional storage. Constructed from durable, BPA-free LDPE resin, the Heritage is engineered for outdoor use and backed by a 2-year warranty.

This 65 Gallon Rain Barrel has a fine mesh screen to keep out bugs and debris along with a front-facing overflow channel. It also includes one cubic foot, self-draining planter top. Most rain barrels on the market don't fully utilize the water they hold because the spigot is located about halfway up the barrel. This allows buckets to be filled but leaves about a quarter of the water standing behind, which can be hazardous. Barrels with optimally located spigots don't allow room for filling buckets and leave hoses as the only option for drainage. The Rain Wizard Universal Stand solves these issues by lifting and supporting the rain barrel off the ground. With the increased elevation, buckets can be easily placed below the spigot without awkward tilting or maneuvering, and the barrel can drain at a much faster rate. The Universal Stand will fit nearly every rain barrel produced by Good Ideas with a round 19 to 26 inch base (currently excludes Riverwalk, Savannah, and Amphora series). The structured core is designed to hold over 1000 pounds of water weight, and the stand is available in a wide variety of colors to conveniently match your home or barrel. This large base measures 24.75D X 28.75W X 14.75H. Please measure your barrel to ensure a proper fit.
