I thought it was nearly perfect in the design but I think one of the attributes is not ideal. The hammock in the middle is kinda low to the platform below it, making it kinda difficult for the cat the get from the platform to the left of the hammock to the next one, slightly higher on the right. I wish the hammock was a board or higher up. Other than that, it’s really good. My friend and me built it in under an hour. I got it because it’s just about 18” below the tops of my kitchen cabinets. So she can climb the tower then traverse the cabinet tops. I have been thinking about removing the hammock and replacing it with a board. We shall see. I have not set it up yet as we are still renovating our cat room, but the parts are very good quality and look exactly like pictured. Although there are many parts, the directions make it easy to build. You just need to know where exactly on the walls they work and then they are easy to put up. The bottom metal piece is extremely heavy and it is so difficult to screw in the 3 metal bars from the bottom. The screws took forever to get going and were very difficult to screw in. When we used a drill, it snapped the screw in half. There’s no soft surface for the cats either, you have to put something separate on top. The directions were difficult to follow. Yes you can look at the pictures and figure it out, and I did. They enclosed gloves, which was a ice touch, because they must have known the difficulty in getting the wood spindles in the holes. I had to hit them with a hammer to get them in and then screw in with Allen wrench. However, once assembles, the product is study, pillows are soft and Velcro is there to keep them in place.
