It looks nice and is perfect for what I need! But the screws for the box need to be longer. I had two come out within minutes of putting them in. My two kitties love their new space! We have two 9 months old kitties that we rescued when they were 3 12 weeks old. They are indoor cats but we wanted to give them a safe sanctuary when are not home. I put the structure together myself and it probably would have gone quicker if I had help but I took my time and the instructions were easy enough to follow. The wood is strong enough for indoor but I don’t think it would last long outside in the elements. I didn’t use the roofing material that came with it since I have it inside the house. Love this! Debated about the purchase for a while, but finally went for it, and my cats are in love. Its sturdy and assembly instructions are straight forward. Plenty of room for both of my large cats (about 12-14 lbs each). I added some finer screening around it to keep bugs out (just stapled it to the frame) and created a wood frame that fits inside my window so it can be secured without attaching it to the exterior of my house. It’s nice. Quality is good not the greatest some parts came dented (wood and cage material) but overall good quality. This was a replacement for one that lasted 5 years (including midwest winters)... my 2 cats love hanging out in this. Assembly takes some time and some mechanical skills... a drill is helpful for screws. I live in a city and this is on a 4th floor balcony... they love sitting/napping in this from spring to fall and chirping at birds and squirrels in a nearby tree, and watching the action in my Chicago alley... lots of good people and pet viewing from the safety of the balcony catio!. This cage has changed Paninis and my life for the better. He has medical issues and needed to be activity restricted for a long time. I upgraded from a cat tent to this. I ended up buying another cage set to make bigger, more complex cages. It is highly customizable to whatever space you have and your needs within. I recommend buying heavy-duty zipties and creating designs built with lots of support (walls, and the support squares). Seriously, if you think you used enough zipties, you could use more, lol. This thing does not budge if you do. It is a pain to clean or rearrangebuild. I find it time well spent for the flexibility this cage gives.
