Ben the cat loves his new bed! I covered the cushion with one of the easy-wash covers I use for his other baskets and beds. The whole thing weighs a ton so it is very sturdy. If the pet fits comfortably in the length/width they will be comfortable on the thick cushion. Ben only weighs 12 pounds and 2 cats would probably be comfortable together. This is a really cute pet bed. The colors are really nice, and the texture of the material is very cozy. Our only problem is that I accidentally ordered the extra small, which is too small for adult cats - at least mine!
