Extra Tall Pet Pen

A metal pet gate provides a secure and flexible solution for creating safe spaces throughout your home. Designed with a pressure-mounted frame, this adjustable cat gate fits openings from 21" to 34" wide and extends in height from 75" to 98". The narrow bar spacing helps keep curious cats safely contained, while the walk-through door allows convenient access for people. Its lightweight plastic accents and locking mechanism add everyday functionality. Plus, we love that this tall pet gate helps create a comfortable environment for pets and their families.

This is likely not what many people are using this skate for, but were doing it to help socialize our wonderful new dog with my two cats, one of them is not very dog savvy. When we tried to do this with a normal baby gate, she kept trying to launch herself over it so of course, he wanted to chase her. This was the most affordable option that I could find for something floor to ceiling that would allow them to become more familiar without the potential danger that an unexpected interaction could have caused. Ive been very happy with it. The socialization is going great, and there is no way that my cat can jump over this. Its also sturdier than I expected as the pup still likes to paw at it from time to time, with no issues so far. Its very easy to open and close. This is a great affordable option!. Katherine. This is currently separating my 3 cats from my mom's 2 cats that all recently moved in. Best gate ever keep them safe and able to see eachother and become familiar with the new kitties. It's easy to put up and going in and out of the gate is a breeze as there is no floor lip from the gate to trip on.. Deena. CA. Sun Oct 11 2026

The 71" extra-high gate can prevent cats from jumping over the gate and also prevents children from climbing over it. The space between the fences is very narrow at 1.37 inches, which prevent puppies, kittens or children to squeeze through or get their heads stuck between the fences. And this safety gate is adjustable in width, making it possible to safely divide areas where pets or babies should not enter, such as kitchens, entrances, or staircases. It can be adjusted to fit the space, making it very convenient.

This gate worked extremely well for us when we needed a way to keep our 3 huge dogs (1 is 88 lbs) away from our contractors. Stayed firmly in place without being screwed into the wall and was very secure when you lower the little lever that locks it in place.. Rachel. New Braunfels, TX. Sat Aug 29 2026

Initial thought was the solid construction. Guess I expected it to be a bit flimsy or wobbly but was very impressed. 2nd impression was of the ease of putting it together & installing it. Went up quickly & smoothly. I would have liked the parts to be marked & instructions a bit clearer but visually, the parts answered any questions I had. It's a basic set up in that regard. We have multiple cats & this is working perfectly. No more zippered screen doors with Velcro periodically replaced from broken zippers. Only issue I have now is wondering why I didn't do this sooner.. Thomas. Whitewater, WI. Wed Oct 07 2026

Works well. We use it to manage indooroutdoor access on a French door. It allows air through without letting the bold raccoons in.. Maybe A Cat Wrote This. The Internet. Sun Aug 23 2026

This one-piece pet gate features a height that extends from 47.2" to 87" (120 cm to 221 cm). Width Adjustment: Small: 27.5" – 31.5" / Large: 27.5" – 37". It effectively prevents cats and large dogs from jumping over while maintaining ventilation. The gate height is easily adjusted via a pull-out mechanism, making installation quicker and more convenient. It is securely fixed with four support points at the top and bottom, ensuring a sturdy and wobble-free setup. The double-lock latch design eliminates worries about clever cats opening the gate. It is suitable for multiple scenarios such as balconies, passages, staircases, and doorways.

It works as intended. Difficult to put together and secure in place. I have been using for over a month without any issues. Keeps my cat separated with visibility allowing me to feed them close to each other.. Elise. FL. Wed Oct 21 2026

We went from a hutch to this and my bunbuns absolutely love this new setup. It’s lighter and open and they flop and sleep out in the middle of the pen! Not sure it would be sturdy enough for a puppy in this configuration but it meets our needs perfectly! I’ll probably regret not waiting until the sale coming up in a few days, but whatcha gonna do. Meghan. Tucson, AZ. Thu Oct 22 2026

Not sure these would work for a big dog, or that they'll hold up long term, but we now have a small fenced area outside so my small dog can run around off leash for a reasonable price, and they held strong all summer.. Carrie. Olympia, WA. Tue Sep 22 2026

This pet gate makes it easy to contain my new puppy. The gate looks like fine wood furniture and doesn't look like cheap plastic or metal. It is extremely easy to open and close the door which makes entering and leaving a breeze.. Richilde. Orange, CA. Wed Jun 24 2026

Perfect for use in doorways, hallways, kitchens, and stairs, is the perfect solution for keeping your home safe while allowing easy access for you and your pets.

Easy to install. I bought it to block the cat from going into my son’s bathroom (she likes to do her business in his shower drain…. not that that has anything to do with the gate lol) She could easily scale the 4’ fence so I bought this gate. It’s sturdy. Has some weight to it … doesn’t feel cheap. I put it up a year ago and no troubles at all. It was a great purchase.. Kelli. US. Thu Sep 03 2026

I really love this gate. The only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is I wish it were a little taller. My cats figured out how to jump over it (straight from the ground), so I wish it were a little taller. We added a cardboard topper as a work around.. Jordyn. New Port Richey, FL. Fri Sep 18 2026

Easy to build and nicely sturdy. The plastic bottom is great for protecting my hardwood floors but took a few days to loose its smell, which was like that of a new tent. All in all holds up great as my ten pound rabbits primary enclosure!. Maggie. Ontario, Canada. Wed Oct 21 2026

With the pet fence, your small pet will have plenty of room for playing and keeping active. The grid design help you keep a closer eye on your pets. Perfectly suit as dog cage playpen, small pet pen, metal playpen for guinea pigs, metal grid panel cage.

I ordered this to donate to the foster program at our local shelter. Foster families can always use enclosures to comfortably confine litters during puppy/kitten season. This one looks like it would be great for mothers & kittens during their first 6 weeks. Small breed dogs too. All the parts look good, and the enclosure should be fairly easy to construct with the provided hardware (I haven't put it together yet as it's a gift). Being able to store some supplies right on top is a big plus. Looks good to go, and I'll be happy to donate it. :) **Put it together after all, and I want to say again - young kittens and small breed puppies. It's plenty sturdy for them, but older kittens will climb right out, and larger puppies rough-housing will be able to push it around. This would be nice to set up in a communal area if you have other animals. Mothers can feel protected from them in the enclosed area, while curious babies have a protected area to roam. Plenty of room for beds, litter boxes, etc.. It's a little hard to pull apart between uses, but it all fits into a fairly small box for storage. ** I don't think I recieved a door latch?? Can't be sure in case one of my cats knocked it off the table when I was photographing parts and lost it somewhere playing with it, but I should have found it by now.... Carole. Grants Pass, OR. It definitely is a two person job. We put it together on a paved area before moving it to the grass. It’s sturdy and my favorite part is the door latches my second favorite part is that the roof covers down the sides. Everything seems very durable and we even had a storm blow through today and there were no issues plus my chickens love it.. M Sembera. Sun Sep 13 2026

The panels come with individual poles to connect them and are easy to set up or take down in minutes. The dog fence can do multiple combinations and configurations and easily conforms to different shapes according to your garden or room - circle, polygon, irregular, etc.

I added this fence temporarily to my back yard to allow my golden retriever pups access to the yard while having our deck rebuilt. I have since used sections to keep them from AC units and any other places that are “off limits”. It has been a fabulous investment. Anonymous. Mon Aug 24 2026
