This is a well made solid crate for a large dog. I have a medium dog and she is going to have plenty of room to move around. I needed something that would be easy to clean because she has had stomach issues recently. She prefers laying on the tile floor rather than a cushion or dog bed. Her previous crate was furniture style and I constructed it without the bottom and she would lay on the tile. I decided to build this and place a towel on the crate bottom and use the tray that belongs underneath, on the inside of the crate. This way she is laying on the plastic and if she has an accident at night all I have to do is take the tray outside to clean it. No more bending down inside a piece of furniture to clean my floor. She appears to be getting over her tummy issues and seemed very content to sleep on the tray last night. Happy dog, happy dog mommy. I'm 62 and I built this by myself in about 2 hours. Directions are clear and easy to follow if you have some basic experience putting furniture together. My only concern is that the small screws that attach the door hinges are not a good fit, they don't tighten, they just keep spinning. Will probably need to try to find a replacement screw that fits the hole but grips better. Otherwise, I love this new bedtime haven for my girl.. Aileen. Fort Pierce, FL. Fri Jun 27 2025

Very pleased with the quality of this kennel. Be sure to caulk the inside edges to prevent leaks of material from going into the cracks. It is not waterproof but water resistant on the surfaces which are plastic veneer. My dogs love it. They go right in. I used bird trays for the bottom of bird cages sold on a major pet site which measure 20 inches width and depth to hold dog blankets and avoid damage. Easy assembly. I did the whole thing by myself with a little creativity.. Laura. WI. Tue Sep 08 2026

Combining pet-friendly practicality with elegant design, our Dog Crate Furniture seamlessly blends into your home décor while providing a safe and stylish space for your furry friend. Perfect for dogs and interiors alike, it harmonizes functionality with aesthetic appeal.

Overall, we would rate this dog crate furniture an 810. The design is beautiful and it blends really well with our home decor. It looks more like a stylish piece of furniture than a crate, which we love. We have two small dogs, and the double compartments work perfectly for them. They feel comfortable and use it easily. The main downside is the material. The wood is a bit softcompacted, so you have to be careful when assembling because the screws can strip if over-tightened. Also, some of the pre-drilled holes for the sliding door brackets and latches were not perfectly aligned, which made installation a bit more difficult. That said, once assembled, it looks great and functions well for everyday use. Overall, we’re happy with the purchase and would still recommend it, especially for small dogs looking for a cozy and stylish space.. Edwine. Terrebonne, QC. Sat Apr 18 2026
