This suited our need almost exactly. I kept the door off since it’s used as a hang out instead of a true kennel. As others stated, it isn’t gray in the least but a nicer shade than a true brown. It was very easy to assemble by myself (62 yo female) except for the end when you literally have to climb inside to attach the top. Not sure why they don’t have you attach the piece with inside connects (top to sides) first and the bottom with outside connections last instead but I’d recommend trying that first.. Anonymous.
