Our family used this house for our chickens! It worked perfectly for a hen that needed to be isolated from the flock. The heat mat thats provided does not include a temperature dial but it does regulate at an appropriate heat temperature thats not too hot. Our 11 year old daughter put it together all by herself. She liked how the numbers in the directions were hard printed on the plastic pieces making it easy to follow and put together. I would suggest small dogs, bunnies, chickens or the alike as the floor would likely bend with heavier weight. We loved the two room concept so the hen could rest on one side, and have her food and water on the other. The flap does keep the cold air out and the vents help to regulate the airflow when the unit is fully closed. Its a great home for chickens because its plastic, not wood any mites that snuck in the coop would be easier to clean off from this until vs. a wooden coophouse. Overall, Im happy with this home.. I was pleasantly surprised with how easy it was to build. You do need a screwdriver for the door handles which is a little silly considering the rest of the pieces just click together. It is STURDY, I misaligned the one door and it took some serious muscle to get it apart. Given that the item is for cats who are notorious for chaos, I think that’s a good thing. The doors on the front are nice and secure, no swinging open and the side flaps for the litter box access are easy to use. My cat was swatting them before I had even finished the build. Was initially very upset with the appearance. Number one reason was that it looked like a very large wobbly blob. Also, my cat had totally ignored it until after my initial critique. There is a photograph of the area where there is an opening that missed being sewn. Update, I walked into my living room and it suddenly looked pretty like the photo and my kitty was happy and curled up deep inside. Now that she has claimed it the shape is holding. Differences in temperature and humidity may impact the suction cup's flexibility, leading to the formation of air bubbles and which can lead to a potential detachment from the surface. Make sure to test the system often and clean both the surface and suction cups whenever needed.

This is so very cute! I cannot resist such an adorable cat bed. It arrived very well-packaged! When opening the box and packing materials I found every piece was in excellent condition. None of the pieces were labeled so I did have to rely on the instructions for identification. When assembling it was pretty self-explanatory. The only complaint was that it was hard to get the felted pieces on the wooden notches. My husband had to take over and had no trouble. Make sure you have someone strong able to help with assembly. After putting it together my cats immediately went to it and started using the scratching post. The scratch-mat was also being used which is a plus! This is a great sized bed! I have two dogs one weighs 20 pounds and one weighs 60 pounds the two of them together don’t even take up half of the bed. It’s a very soft furry material. When you buy something for a cat (beds, toys, etc.), you never know if they’re going to love it or sniff it once and then pretend it doesn’t exist forever after. It’s often the latter. Well, we were pleasantly surprised with this little cat bunk bed. We have five cats and they love it! It’s rough so they can scratch and sharpen their claws on it, but it’s must be comfy as well because they love lounging on it too. We often see two at a time using it.
