Swing microchip is a swing door for cats with a fantastic selective recognition system with microchip! This cat swing door has an antenna that detects and decodes your cat’s subcutaneous microchip, automatically unlocking every time he approaches to pass through the door. Made of sturdy plastic, this swing door comes with wind stopper, to keep air draughts out, and with a super effective 4-way closing system so you can choose how to adjust its operation: exit only, entry only, entry and exit, full lock (your pet will not be able to pass either way). This allows for controlled passage and keeps foreign cats from coming in. In addition, a useful last-passage indicator lets you know whether your pet is at home or outside at a glimpse: the tab will be pointing at the direction of your cat’s last passage. Reliable and easy to use, the swing microchip swing door runs on batteries (not included) and comes with a low-battery indicator. Very versatile, the swing door can memorise up to 32 different standard microchips (iso 11784), unambiguous all over the world. It can be installed on any material. Note: be careful when installing the swing door on tempered glass and double-glazed glass (the holes must be factory drilled) or on metal doors that interfere with the swing door recognition system (a wooden spacer of at least 5 cm must be placed between the metal and the swing door). The packaging includes a collar with microchip, in the event your cat doesn’t have a subcutaneous chip. It should only be used with the swing door. Choose the model to suit your pet's size. Set contains: Cat flap with microchip, wind stopper system and direction indicator Cat collar with microchip User manual

This is a cute little pet door. I love that I could choose color, as black fits with our home color scheme best. I was surprisingly impressed that the magnet for the flap is pretty strong. The smallest size is Perfect for cats and toy dog breeds. We haven’t had a chance to install yet, but we’re looking forward to using this door for some farm kitties we adopted unexpectedly so they can have access to our garage. Love that a template is included too.. Jennifer. Nebraska. Sat Oct 03 2026

The quality appeared fantastic but it was the wrong size for my door. I would definitely re-order this same brand and product with the right height for my extra tall patio door or find an extender in order to keep this product. The extra large dog flap is huge and more than what I needed but that wasn’t a problem. The quality of the materials seems sturdy and premium.. Messina. West Sacramento, CA. Wed Sep 30 2026

A flap devoted to your pet! The range of swing doors by ferules proposes many different models you can choose according to your needs: for puppies, kittens, small cats, and dogs, for example, we suggest the models swing 1, 3, or 5. For medium and large-sized dogs, as well as large cats, the swing 11 or 15 models are more suitable. The model swing 7, instead, equipped with a magnetic system, is perfect for cats. All swing pet flaps are made from robust plastic and have universal fitting: they can be installed in many different structures and materials. Besides, they have been designed to guarantee maximum comfort, reliability, and facility of use. The flaps are equipped with a special wind-stopper system preventing draughts (models swing 1 and 3 excluded) and a 4-way locking system (except in model swing 1 with a 2-way locking system: open or locked). Thanks to the locking system, it is possible to adjust the flap opening as you need: for example, entry only, exit only, entry and exit, or closed. In the models Swing 5 and 7, a useful direction indicator will help you to understand whether your pet is: indoors or outdoors. All larger flaps come with a tunnel of 1,97'', allowing them to be adapted to any structure. The tunnel can also be trimmed ( except in the model's swing 7 containing a very delicate mechanism). For Swing 5, swing 1, and 3, which come with partial tunnels, a specific modular extension tunnel is available as an accessory and is 1,97'' in depth (screws are not included). Choose the model in compliance with your pet's size.

As advertised. Slide in security panel was warped when it arrived and the box was a bit torn in one spot. Not very securely packaged, but I was able to re-form the slide in panel, and make it work. It would be a 5 star rating if it had come with a second panel to go on the outside position which would make it more secure. The aluminum frame is very well designed and fits together nicely.
