Large Cantilever umbrella provides all the sun coverage you'll need. It's enormous and heavy! It took my husband, son, and a friend to get it hosted up. It doesn't come with the base which important because all bases will not pair with it. But it provides us the perfect protection from the Florida sun.. Stephanie. Plant City, FL. Sat Jul 04 2026

Built for real life with 9 aircraft-grade aluminum ribs, it laughs at summer breezes. Pro tip: This sun-blocking champion (not waterproof) pairs perfectly with iced tea and zero regrets. Base sold separately.

This is a nice umbrella, accurate to the description and pictures. I was not aware that you have to buy the base separately so that’s the only down side. The pole seems sturdy and made well. The beige color is really nice in person. I’m happy with it!. Anonymous. Wheaton, IL. Fri May 30 2025

Great umbrella! Had a problem and the manufacturer fixed it immediately. Now, it is fantastic and I am very pleased. Looks great, easy to operate and only assembly was attaching it to the base and removing packaging. Very nice.. Joann. Boston, MA. Sat Jun 20 2026

Enhance your outdoor space with our 8ft Aluminum Square Cantilever Umbrella. Featuring a durable frame, premium canopy fabric, and unique handle design for effortless adjustment. Rotate 360 degrees for optimal shade. Note: umbrella base not included.

Love this umbrella! Easy to put together. Just be sure to order a base because it doesn’t come with one. My only complaint is that the Wayfair description online said it included a cover for the umbrella. The instructions that came with the umbrella said you need to buy your own cover. Makes no sense to me. Should come with it’s own cover. I think I’m stuck. Not sure how to order a cover that will fit.. Debra. US. Sat Jun 28 2025

This 9 ft square cantilever umbrella brings a perfect blend of style and function to your outdoor space. Its smooth hydraulic opening, customizable tilt, and 360° rotation let you enjoy cool shade all day long. Whether for sunny afternoons or lively garden gatherings, it’s built to provide reliable comfort and sleek, modern elegance.

This 9 ft aluminum cantilever patio umbrella is very nice quality and looks great. It arrived fully assembled with the canopy already on, which was a big plus and saved a lot of time. One thing to note is that the base is not included, which I didn’t realize at first, so we’ll need to purchase one separately. The crank is located in the front under the canopy, so you do have to step under the umbrella to raise and lower it. That said, it operates smoothly, and the tilt feature is very easy to use. Overall, it feels sturdy and well made, and once all the snow melts, it’s going to be perfect for our patio. I’m really looking forward to using it this season.. Stacey. Laytonsville, MD. We ordered this umbrella to provide shade over a portion of our above-ground pool so we'd have a place to get relief from the strong Florida sun. It provides plenty of coverage without shading the entire pool, which is exactly what we wanted. The umbrella was straightforward to set up and feels sturdy once assembled. The canopy provides excellent shade, and the ability to adjust the position helps keep the shaded area where you need it throughout the day. We've also been impressed with how well it handles wind. We've had some pretty strong gusts here in Florida recently and kept a close eye on it. It stayed firmly in place and never felt unstable. We've only had it for a short time, so I can't speak to long-term durability yet, but so far we're very happy with it. If you're looking for a large poolside umbrella that provides excellent shade and feels well built, this has been a great addition to our backyard.. Cindy. Florida. Tue Jun 23 2026

A very nice umbrella! We really like the navy color and the frame is sturdy. Make sure to purchase the correct base. The raising and lowering works smoothly. If you need to pivot the umbrella, you just move the handle into the pivoting gears and that also works so smoothly. I do want to give a shut out to both Wayfair and the business because the first one arrived in a mangled box, and the ribs of the umbrella were bent badly. Wayfair forwarded the complaint to the company and the company made contact within 12 hours and I already had a shipment being processed for the new one.. Andrea. NV. Wed Sep 16 2026

I am going to give it a 4 star from what I have but unfortunately I only received the unbrella and the base cover. The bolts and crank and the base plate which are needed to actually assemble were not in the package. Wayfair is fantastic and are sending the missing items but I am still waiting for them to arrive. Please note the base for the umbrella is not included and must be purchased sep from the umbrella. The fabric is a nice quality and I think it will be great once the other parts arrive!. Nicole. Oh my! This umbrella is HUGE. I misread the description and thought that there would be a base with it but you have to either buy a weighted based or a mount that goes into the ground. I finally located the base that this umbrella is compatible with (you fill it with water) but I’m inclined to think it may not be enough counterbalance when the umbrella is in its full extended version. Once the base arrives, I will figure out if I need the one that goes into the ground. Anyhow, beautifully made umbrella. Can wait for my first summer cookout!. Marie. Fall City, WA. Wed Apr 10 2024

This umbrella is absolutely beautiful and looks very well made. The fabric color is gorgeous, and the overall design is modern and high-end. We haven’t been able to fully set it up yet because the compatible base had to be ordered separately. It would be a 5-star purchase if a matching base was included or easier to find, as the provided SKU numbers didn’t match Wayfair’s listings. Overall, very impressed!. Jennifer. US. Tue Jun 30 2026

This 12FT cantilever umbrella is exactly what I was looking for to provide shade over our patio seating area. It’s very sturdy and well-made, and the fabric feels thick and durable. The size offers excellent coverage, and the overall design looks sleek and modern in the backyard. One important thing to note: the umbrella base is not included, and it requires a specific type of base to stay properly balanced. Elevate your outdoor experience with our 9.8ft Roman Umbrella. Crafted from durable aluminum, featuring built-in LED lights, and fade-resistant fabric, it offers customizable shade and enchanting ambiance. Enjoy comfort and style in your outdoor sanctuary.

It is an awesome cantilever style umbrella, it is heavy and really easy to put together two observations is that the cover for the base is not included, so you have to be careful not to trip over the cross base. Upon some quick research it is possible to buy here on Wayfair too so you don’t have to make two separate orders. The other thing is that I still haven’t figured out how to prevent it from moving side to side with the wind but that is most likely user error. Overall is an excellent deal and a great products. UPDATED: The manufacturer of the umbrella called me to discuss the review-which as noted was really about Wayfair and their CS-not the quality of the umbrella-which is great btw. Changing to 5 stars because the actual umbrella is fantastic and they shouldn't be penalized for Wayfair's poor customer service. It was nice to speak with them and suggest how to be clearer with their marketing so folks don't buy the wrong base. The one star is for Wayfair customer service (now changed to 5) and not the product. Please note the description (counter weight base needed) and so I bought one. Got it ready with sand and water. Went to assemble the umbrella and there are no cross braces included. Description lacking is an understatement. So now I have an umbrella with a counter weight base I can’t return and no way to use with this umbrella because this company doesn’t send standard what every other company considers standard to buyer beware only order a counter weight base you can attach the umbrella directly to because no one sells the cross bars typically used with these umbrellas. Interesting to me is under suggested products Wayfair doesn't even link what’s needed. Frustrating.. Sharon. Antioch, TN. Tue Aug 13 2024

The Johanna Cantilever Umbrella is impressive! A very stable and sturdy umbrella. I love the crank handle and the easy lift to tilt mechanism.
