Great price for this 10' cantilever umbrella. It does rotate at the locking handle if the breeze is on the stronger side. That's why only 4 stars. I'm compensating for that by tethering it to my hammock using a dog leash. There is also quite a bit of canopy sway in the breeze, but the frame is sturdy. On a calm day, it's wonderful! DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. Wayfair sent me a damaged and defective umbrella with the hook inside the pole supporting the umbrella holder is broken. I have requested to return the product and have a refund so I can buy something else but Wayfair is trying to force the damaged product on me and keep asking me to send a picture of the damage which I already did and the agent is still asking me for additional proof of damage. I am still within the 30days of the return policy but they are trying to force a damaged product on me and threatening that I have to pay for the shipping back to them. What nonsense??? Do not waste your money and time buying this product as the quality is very poor and not sturdy at all that little wind can blow it away. This was not a final sale item and wayfair should improve on their poor customer service and keep to their return policy. Still waiting for my money back!. Anonymous. Fri Aug 30 2024

It is still in the box because I am having trouble finding a base. We live in a very windy area, so I need something extra heavy duty to weigh this thing down and keep it from taking off in our next wind storm. The color is as described and it looks good sized. I’ll update this review once I have it up. UPDATE: Nice umbrella! The only negative is that it is very difficult for me, an athletic adult woman, to open and lock into place. It usually takes me a couple tries. My husband--who is pretty muscle-y--also conceded that it is tough to get it to lock.. Kmg. Newton, MA. Fri Feb 24 2023

The actual umbrella was not as advertised. It was a total fiasco to the point where the manufacturer said the box was mismarked and then the contents were mismarked! The only Wayfair customer service rep was the only one that got things correct (Wayfair lucky to have her). The rest from Wayfair is a HUGE disappointment. They did change the description from receiving the umbrella with the Octobella (from Italy) umbrella material to now "acrylic". It was their mistake!! No confirmation my return was received (sent back 12/18). Wayfair right now still shows they did not receive as of this date, 1/18/2024!! Have to spend more time finding out if I received my refund. If not...will dispute with credit card company. These umbrellas are not what they claim to be!!. Woofs Mom. Central Fl. Thu Jan 18 2024
