Oh my! This umbrella is HUGE. I misread the description and thought that there would be a base with it but you have to either buy a weighted based or a mount that goes into the ground. I finally located the base that this umbrella is compatible with (you fill it with water) but I’m inclined to think it may not be enough counterbalance when the umbrella is in its full extended version. Once the base arrives, I will figure out if I need the one that goes into the ground. Anyhow, beautifully made umbrella. Can wait for my first summer cookout!. Marie. Fall City, WA. Tue Apr 09 2024

This umbrella is perfect! It’s very large bigger than expected and thankful. The pull handle does get a little hard to manipulate up the pole but a little silicone WD won’t hurt. Not a fan of the base but we altered it screwed it to the deck and made a little box around it. Overall great shade coverage.. Michelle. IN. Wed May 27 2026

Love this big monstrosity of a cantilever umbrella - we haven’t had a chance to use it yet and it’s in little cover - but so far so good - it was a bit difficult to put together and you definitely need two people men preferably, lots of sand bags and water -but in the end I am sure you’ll be happy with it. It’s not red. It’s maroon. But it is nice and I like the solar lights. The base is ridiculous and one of the dumbest designs I’ve ever seen. I used pavers and plants to dress up the base as opposed to the sand bags that came with. I wish the top would rotate. Instead you have to move the entire base to reposition the umbrella.. Tabi. Ok, first off the umbrella is huge which is great. It covers a whole lot of shade. A few screws were missing and the stand it comes with is not very good. I had to hold the umbrella for pictures as it kept tilting and falling to the ground if not held by someone. It was easy to assemble and the material seems to be made of good quality material. I just need to figure out a way to make it stay in place. I think it will serve its purpose but definitely plan to buy a better stand or sand bags.. Bogdan. US. Thu Sep 03 2026

So happy with our recent purchase of these outdoor cantilever umbrellas! We bought 3 of them for our pool side and they are an immediate upgrade from our previous umbrellas. Additionally, they glide up and down easily, are a breeze to open and can be positioned at different angles for the perfect amount of shade, any time of day. Did I mention they are rated for up to 30mph winds? But the best part is that they rotate 360 degrees by stepping on the foot pedal! No matter what time of day it is, you've got sun protection. Arlmont&Co is another name for Purple Leaf so when you receive the umbrella and it says Purple Leaf on the box and umbrella, don't think you received the wrong umbrella. Packed ok. Make sure to take out all foam packing material within the umbrella before opening up the umbrella once assembled to a base. I also purchase the Baird Metal in ground base as I did not want a huge base taking up space on my patio. This worked perfectly for me. After 300 lbs of concrete and 150 lbs of compacted soil the base is nuclear proof. The umbrella material is acceptable to me for the price. It isnt sunbrella material, that would cost a bit more and maybe I purchase one with that in the future, since the base supports about 25 different models of umbrella. One of the metal connecting rods was a little bent but nothing to compromise its integrity. I have a pretty windy back yard and this umbrella has withstood the wind thus far. It comes with a cover which is nice to use so the umbrella doesnt fade as fast if not in use. The tilt transition handle is a smooth operation and the 360 rotation works well also. Overall I would recommend it.. John. Mount Laurel, NJ. Thu May 27 2021

Add shade and comfort to outdoor spaces with this offset patio umbrella featuring a cantilever design and crank system. Designed for versatility, it provides overhead coverage for outdoor dining tables, seating areas, hammocks, and more—without the obstruction of a center pole. Built with a sturdy steel pole and 8 reinforced steel ribs, this umbrella offers reliable support and wind resistance. The canopy is made from durable 100% polyester, offering fade resistance and all-day sun protection. Two twist knobs on the pole allow the canopy to rotate without moving the base, making it easy to adjust coverage throughout the day. The umbrella opens and closes smoothly with a crank and can be tilted as needed. The base is designed to be stabilized with 30 lb or heavier base weights or paving stones (not included). For extended use, fold and secure during strong winds or storms. This umbrella combines convenience, coverage, and long-lasting materials for any backyard, deck, or patio setup.

Whether for a backyard, patio, or poolside, the cantilever umbrella combines functionality, style, and ease of use, making it a must-have for outdoor living.

Pretty easy to set up. The plastic parts don’t feel as heavy duty as another brand I have but they hold up to the wind equally. Good purchase for the price I’d say. Ciara. Tucson, AZ. Mon May 18 2026
