The umbrella is great. Large in size and attractive. The assembly was a 2 person job at times and there was a point when the arm extensions had to be put on and the instructions should have mentioned that it would be a tight fit and might require force or maybe a hammer to help to slide together. Also the umbrella is a material I wasn’t expecting. I guess I was expecting more of a cloth but it’s attractive and we shall see how it holds up to the Las Vegas sun. One last thing. Wheels under the base to help with moving it would be nice because once you fill it with water there is no moving it without draining the water. And finally, giving a demonstration that has some walls or something would be nice so people who have walls or patio tops k ow that in order for the umbrella arms to open there is some clearance around the umbrella to open. We just got two of these set up and they seem nice, but have barely used them yet. My main issue was the inability of Wayfair to send anyone who could put them together. They are too large for one person and, while I had paid for assembly, neither the delivery guys or the assembly team (which turned out to be the same delivery guys) could assemble it. This umbrella is absolutely huge—great coverage, but definitely something to consider if you have a smaller patio. It takes up more space than you might expect. It’s extremely durable and very heavy, which makes it feel sturdy and secure. One thing that isn’t obvious in the product images is that the base is also massive. As you can see in my photos, it has a large footprint, so you’ll want to plan your layout accordingly. That said, the quality is excellent. At the 300 price point, you truly get what you pay for.
