It took us several hours to finish putting it together mostly because we don't often construct things. The first pieces were difficult because we had to be on our knees to screw it together, after that all was well. Small tools included. When you get to the part where you attach an inner ring to the outer legs, we used the large box it came in to hold it in place by placing it under the metal pieces- which balanced it and held it in place while you screw in place.. We like the look of this table on our deck. The 54” added 6” to our previous seating capacity which we wanted without having to change the existing rug. The back cushions will be wrinkled upon assembling but go away quickly in the humidity or you can use a steamer, and the table legs have adjustable screw caps on the bottoms to help level it from wobbling. I deducted 1 star because the screws are cheap and impossible to get out once fastened and the metal is easily scratched. They should have used hex head bolts, but they're round-headed, easily strippable allen bolts. Not sure about rust, so I'll be treating it since I like to rinse off my patio furniture.. Hannah.
