13" - 18" Ceiling Medallions

The Cherub Sky Round Chandelier Ceiling Medallion 24-inch diameter is a favorite sized fully assembled and intricately finished Ceiling Medallion. This Timeless Creation offers an Old-World Elegance creating instant 3-dimensional detail to an otherwise boring plain ceiling. Or crown an elegant chandelier with the medallion. Adding a medallion when changing a light fixture is often a good time to consider this decorative accent. The item comes fully finished out of the package and is Hand Cast in a lightweight Polystyrene that will never shrink, split, or crack. Prior to Masterpiece Moldings' creation of this Collection by AFD Home, the only way to have had an advanced ceiling with this level of design would have been a very expensive addition and an owner willing to take on an elaborate installation project, requiring carpenters, finishers, and in some instances even artists. One of the best parts about this item is that installation could not have been made easier, as the outer ring is created with a cabochon design allowing intermittent spaces specifically created as locations for your screws or hollow wall anchors, matching decorative caps are even provided that will cover the screw heads of your anchors and offer a complete professional looking install. Hollow wall anchors or installation screws are available at your local hardware store, as your need will vary depending on your ceiling.

It is a beautiful picture, it is larger than I expected beautiful copy of those old ceiling medallion that you see in old mansions, yet it is lightweight comes with screws and those little tips to cover screws, very thoughtful , very happy with it, highly recommend. It ended up working for us ok, but it was not as expected. The description said the sizes was a range up to 19”, but gave the orderer no place to choose a size so we were not sure exactly what would show up when it got here. What we got was a 15 3/4” medallion. It just barely fit, but we made it work after doing a bit of wall boarding.. Judith. Derry, NH. Mon Mar 09 2026

I love the beautiful design and the fact that I didnt have to remove my chandlier to put it up! I would have given 5 stars but it didnt come packaged well. Absolutely beautiful medallion. Arrived in perfect shape, beautifully wrapped. Made of nice and dense material. Please understand that this is a fairly deep ceiling medallion, and that the "leaves" or "fans" that project from the medallion's center are not designed to lie flush against the ceiling surface. I made a special trip to the local hardware store to purchase a threaded "nipple" to accommodate the added depth of the medallion. But the effort was worthwhile because the impact that this medallion makes is truly wonderful. I painted my medallion bronze with copper highlights (it arrived primed in white) to play off the other finishes in the room. Again, it's just spectacular.. Gavin. Frankfort, KY. Wed Sep 21 2016
