Very happy with this ceiling medallion. The light fixture I had originally ordered for the room felt too small and this gave it the dimension in the room that was missing. Pretty simple to install. We just used small finishing nails to secure it as flat as we could to the ceiling. Then caulked around the edge. We did not end up painting it because our ceiling was already white.. Nicole. We replaced 3 fixtures at the front of our home - dining room, foyer, and stairwell. The stairwell had a simple bubble light, with no medallion, while the other two had this exact medallion. As we were installing matching chandeliers, we needed matching medallions. I was extremely pleased to find an exact match here. It arrived promptly and was in great condition. I was planning to paint it but the matte white finish happened to match our ceiling perfectly so my husband just added a littel caulk to give it a flush appearance and it looks fantastic.
