I purchased this several years ago to use when I had my ceiling fan replaced. When taking down the older fan, it had a wider base and the replacement left a less then pleasing cover. Went looking for something that was lightweight and wouldn't require taking down the newly installed ceiling fan. This medallion fit the bill! Easy to install and fits together nicely. Remodeled several ceilings to include several ceiling medallions of the most classical and elegant design, bought them in two sizes. They made the ceiling look so much lovelier! They definitely add to the charm of the room. The medallions lasted several years and we have just sold the house, otherwise Idve posted photos..
