I think this pot is great, clean and with simple lines. I have made soup in it and it seems to heat evenly. I like that the top of the lid and the handles are not metal which means that you can pick it up without an oven mitt. This soup pot is absolutely gorgeous, heats beautifully, and is just the right size. The smooth shape of the two pour spouts is perfect--no dribbling or spillage. Note that the spouts are not covered by the lid, and the lid is vented as well, so this is not a suitable pot for braises or anything that needs a sealing lid. This pot is awesome ! It can cook a small to extra large batch of just about anything. In addition, I use when home canning so I get double use out of it in that manner. If I decide to keep something in in overnight, it easily fits into my frog because of the flat lid. It saves room in my cabinets too due to the flat lid. I own 2 of these now. I’ve used the first one for about 2 years and have had no problems. I do always use soft utensils when stirring so as not to scratch the inside of it. This is expensive for a single pot in my opinion but I was willing to pay the extra because of its size and versatility and the way in which it has held up over several years.
