The 3-Ply Stainless Steel Viking 12 quart. Stockpot helps to achieve rolling boils in a shorter time than conventional stockpots due to the clad construction throughout the vessel. The 3-Ply Stainless Steel build allows the side of the vessel to transfer energy from the side walls as well as the bottom so that more of the pot is working to distribute heat quickly and evenly. Beautifully polished to a mirror finish the Viking stockpot is constructed with a three layers of metal - the exterior layer is a magnetic 18/0 stainless steel making this pot compatible with induction stovetops as well as gas, electric and ceramic. The next layer is an aluminum alloy to evenly and efficiently distribute the heat throughout the pot. The inner cooking layer is 18/8 surgical stainless steel that is easy to clean and non-reactive, making it an excellent surface for preparing acidic foods such as tomato based sauces. The combination of materials increases the heat transfer throughout the pan, making more efficient for cooking. The large capacity of the stockpot is ideal for preparing pastas, soups, stocks and more. The vessel's high walls minimize evaporation, making it ideal for slow simmering techniques. A famous cooking TV show and publication rated Tramontina next to the All Clad, which was a little over 3 times more than the Tramontina Signature. I decided that since I'm not a professional chef, or even aspiring to be, the Tramontina would suit me just fine. I had just donated all of my cast iron and porcelain coated cast iron and decided on the Tramontina. It's as beautiful as pictured and I expect it to be as serviceable as described in the review by the famous cooking folks. If I need to update my review, will do.. Lea. SC. Sun Aug 23 2026

The endlessly versatile Saute Pan’s generous surface area help build more flavor whether on the stove or in the oven. Equally useful for roasting, braising, simmering, sautéing, and shallow frying, chefs love Saute Pans for their versatility. thes are crafted in Italy from 5 layers of metal for improved heat conduction and distribution, ideal for building flavor in one-pan meals. The Saute Pan’s wide surface area and shallow depth increases both the rate of evaporation and the quality of searing, while its straight walls make turning all that fond into pan sauce far tidier than it would be in a frying pan. The 5-ply construction also cleans up in seconds, because it prevents hot spots and stuck-on messes. A rolled rim allows you to pthe without spilling and the hollow build of the proprietary Stay Cool Handle dissipates heat to keep it from getting scalding hot while on the stovetop.
