The top is a heavy board that is edge and finger joint glued together and finished in veneer. The legs are also fingerjointed boards. It generally looks nice, but the finish is quite sloppy. there are some rough spots where it was not thoroughly sanded too. I purchased this table because it was on sale. Nice desk. Went with grey color and like it. Very heavy box and material. Material feels like it is made from that plastic that picnic or school tables are made with. Wood grain look is nicerealistic. I don’t think it will scratch easily. Because there are two configuration options it is quite confusing, mainly the drawer part, but holes lined up just fine. Great look for the price! This desk was easy to assemble and super sturdy. I love that it has two tiers, adding more space. I agree with other reviews that the drawers are cheap, but also you could see where it was spray painted on some of the pieces. Luckily they weren’t pieces that were in view.
