I am very pleased with this console table. As mentioned in other reviews, it is pressed board with a laminate overlay, but you get what you pay for. From a distance, it looks very stylish, and the added metal contrast is exactly what I was looking for. This beautiful combo console table has been built from natural reclaimed wood and is perfect to showcase at any entry way or any area that needs some life. Table measures 60L x 10W x 30H and has been moderately distressed. The natural color has not been stained. To keep the genuine rustic look of this product we use reclaimed wood and we're always sure to make sure the surfaces are sanded smooth and splinter free as possible. Please keep in mind that no two pieces will look the exact same and the natural wood color will vary in shade, texture and tone (some more gray and some more brown). This is the result of natural wood weathering. Also, please keep in mind that old nail holes, knot holes, and cracks are a part of what adds the character to these one-of-a-kind pieces and can be expected.

This piece is incredibly light weight, like the "wooden" slats are hollow. I don't mind, the lighter the furniture the better for me.
