The bookshelf is wonderful. Very sturdy and it looks high quality. As you can see I am using for our tv and it’s deep enough where the hdmi cords have room to be plugged in horizontally into the back of the tv. One heads up though, the package is HEAVYYY so be ready to have someone help you carry it in. Other than that, once it was built (which the assembly was so easy) it wasn’t to hard to move around to where I wanted it. A very large and heavy piece. I had expected a bit more robustness to the hardware that was provided but it looks like the thin back panel does some of the structural support. That panel itself was a bit shoddy - 4 panels held together by tape. Also, definitely consider securing it to the wall if you are placing it on carpet because it will wobble. I couldn’t have found a better shelf for the space I needed. We live in an old house that we are remodeling so needless to say our spaces are wonky. We have a space next to our safe and this shelf fits perfectly in width depth and height. My only complaint is that the backing was not aligned and I had to remove the tape that held it together to re-aligned it. It caused the piece to crack a little which is ok since this is hidden and for storage. Impressed with the hardware - all metal. And it comes with a magnetic screw driver! I ordered 4 of the large book cases and 4 of the smaller ones same style to make my built in unit for my office. The shelves were very fast and easy to put together. I was able to modify the smaller shelves to stack them to complete the built in.
