The table is heavy and appears to be good quality, however it was damaged when we took it out of the box. The table travelled by Fed Ex from California to Indiana and the manufacturer requested we send it back. It’s a bit inconvenient and unfortunate as I think the table would have been nice. Table was delivered today. Three weeks ahead of the estimated delivery, about 6 weeks after I ordered it. I paid extra for assembly and in-place delivery and I think it was worth the extra cost because the delivery guys were great and fast. Table doesn’t have any scratches or marks. I ordered the aurora color and it’s a bit darker than I’d hoped. I thought it would match my existing chairs more closely. The finish is so dark that the wood grain doesn’t show through. I don’t hate the finish, just not what I was expecting. Difficult to tell from pictures online. It appears to be a good, solid, well-made piece of furniture. I gave it 4 stars because the table is nice but deducted a star for not being able to tell the true color of the finish from the online photos. Update the aurora color table was just too dark so I returned it and ordered the flax color. Wayfair made the return easy because they had it picked up for a reasonable charge. Returning the original table cost me a bit of money but I’m happy with the flax color. The color is a bit lighter than the samples shown on the website. Nice table and seems well made and of good quality. Assembly was very easy, but it is heavy so I suggest you have help. I chose the 60” table which looks pretty small and will require smaller chairs in order to fit under and between the legs Two issues I have...one is the color I chose (walnut) had a touch of red which it shouldn’t have. The other thing is I would have liked a more natural edge pattern. This one matches the other side exactly, which isn’t what I had in mind. I was really excited to find this table. It was exactly what I was searching for. Rustic, elegant, transcendent. The wood work is really beautiful. The color is soft and feminine, but could stand up against other colors, textures and vibes. I worried that the surface would be splinter-y especially for my young niece and nephew but it’s smooth and non threatening. Expect that there will be some small natural wood defects like this knot I shared a photo of, or some filled in cracks/splits. I think it adds to its natural charm, but if that isn’t the type of table you’re looking for this one may not be for you. This really is an elegant and gorgeous table. The top is a beautiful, natural marble. It has some warm toned shades, which works perfectly in my 60s home. The legs are a soft black and are reinforced by sturdy metal hardware in the underside of the table. I received the table with white glove delivery, which is fabulous for such occasions a heavy item. The timing of the delivery was very effectively communicated. The marble top had two light stains that appeared to be from some moisture exposure. They were along the sides and not that noticeable, so I didn't ask Wayfair to replace the top. If I had asked them to replace the top, I'm confident they would have brought me another one. It's marble, so it needs to be protected from anything dark that might stain it, so I also purchased some clear patterned place mats for meals and my son's drawing sessions.
