I really like these lamps! They’re different and whimsical and add character to our living room. I like the fact that you can just turn on the base, the lightbulb under the lamp, or both. It also has an option to charge a device. The on-off switches on the base. But if you want both lights on, you have to twist near the lightbulb. The reason for four stars is, the lamps I really light and can easily be knocked over and top easily when you’re trying to turn them on and off at the base but other than that, they are a keeper. I like the size of the lamp. It has a smaller footprint and doesn’t take up a lot of room on the end table. I especially like the on/off touch switch at the base of the lamp. The USB port at the base of the lamp is a convenient feature as well. What I don’t like about it, and the reason I gave it a 4, is the lampshade. The shade seems to mute the light coming from the bulb. The light has a yellowish dull glow not very conducive for reading.
