I absolutely LOVE these polished nickel lamps. They are on the large side but so perfect. The shades are good, a little taller vs the listing photo showing them shorterwiderstraighter. This will be incredibly useful for me. I knit and I needed a lamp that would help me see better when I’m working on my projects. It also won’t bother my husband since he doesn’t like bright light. There are 3 settings with different lighting, soft, bright and slighter blue tint. There were no directions, so I had to play around with it but eventually figured it out. This will work perfectly.. I love this desk lamp. It gives me more then enough light when I am working on my computer. The only problem is you get 2 very tiny pieces of threaded pipe to put into the piece on the base that is supposed to hold the whole top section of the lamp (it’s very heavy). Only one piece of pipe will fit. The other is to small for the pipe to fit. I didn’t want to return the lamp. It is only being held up by one small piece of pipe and isn’t very sturdy because of the weight. I just have to remember if I move the lamp to pick it up holding the base.. Arlene. Queen Creek, AZ. Love these lamps. You can adjust the height to suit your needs. My only complaint the cord seems a little short when the lamp is extended to the full height but it still works.
