Nice lamps but I don’t care for the lampshades thy come with. The original shades are Fairly easy to assemble. The fabric has some weight and it attaches with velco at the back. These lamps are nice! It’s the first time ever that I am pleased with a lamp shade which I had to assemble at home. Shades were packed so that they had no creases and the linen weave fabric is nice and heavy. So when I attached the Velcro, the rings clipped in snugly and you can’t tell it isn’t a pre-assembled shade. The “night light” feature in the base of the is fairly bright, but not as bright as the 60W bulb. I like that I can charge my cell phone in the lamp base, but the night light flickers when I plug in my phone I’ve decided it doesn’t bother me because I can easily work around that issue.
