My 12 year old son and I had no problem assembling this in about an hour. I the wood is not as thick/sturdy as I had hoped. I think it will be excellent for our first 4 chickens. This coop is super cute!!! However it seems to be pretty low quality. The wood is very soft and several of my pieces arrived already split. Great starter coop! We ended up stapling chicken wire around the entire outside for extra protection and also added a second latch to the bottom of the door. Impressed with the amount of roosting space plus ground space. I plan on redoing the latches on the roosting boxes as they aren’t the strongest and predators “could” get in or my chickens could get out. We did have missing pieces to 4 of the latches and had to go buy some. That is the worst product I ever buy. I will have to return it later. 2x2 never work. Plastic connector is bad and not solid. structure is so week. Installation direction is so bad that won't match actual. one part require 10 ft. Direction add dimension M (7')+N(5') that is 12' (not 10 feet). Love this small coop for my five 7-week old chicks. It was easy to assemble with great instructions. Great value for the price. Chicks love being outside after living in a tank in my garage.
