Instructions were very easy to follow. I love this idea and it fits perfectly for where we needed it. I question the durability though. I also am not a fan of the fencing used. It tears easily as it’s not hardware cloth. Any predator could easily get through this. We do plan to reinforce it soon, as winter approaches. If we didn’t have a fully fenced in yard, I would immediately reinforce the fencing. We have 12 chickens right now and they have plenty of space.. Ashley. NY. Wed Sep 02 2026

I’m happy with this chicken run, but there are definitely a few things that could be improved. The biggest challenge was the assembly instructions. They were difficult to follow, and several parts were either missing labels or not labeled at all. For example, the instructions referenced an “L2” part that wasn’t listed in the parts inventory, which made the process even more confusing. Be prepared to spend some time identifying each piece before you begin. Id recommendation assembling the roof and canopy on the ground before attaching it to the legs. The instructions say to build it while it’s standing, but we found that to be very frustrating. Putting the top together first and then lifting it onto the legs with two people made the job much easier. I really like that the chicken wire is green because it blends nicely into the yard, making the enclosure much less noticeable. It also comes with plenty of zip ties to secure the chicken wire. The structure feels sturdy while still being lightweight enough for two people to move around the yard, allowing the chickens fresh areas to explore. I plan to purchase heavier-duty ground stakes for added security since the included ones seem a bit small. My only other concern is that the roof cover sags slightly, even when pulled tight, so it may collect rainwater. Despite the assembly frustrations, it’s a solid and functional chicken run.. Dawn. I absolutely love this little chicken pen. It is so easy to put together, don’t have it finished yet. I don’t have the netting installed but it will be easy enough to do. Just getting the time to do it. I have new hatchlings that will love it. Thank you Wayfair.. Barbara. Ash Flat, AR. Thu Sep 26 2024
