Great starter coop! We ended up stapling chicken wire around the entire outside for extra protection and also added a second latch to the bottom of the door. Impressed with the amount of roosting space plus ground space. I plan on redoing the latches on the roosting boxes as they aren’t the strongest and predators “could” get in or my chickens could get out. We did have missing pieces to 4 of the latches and had to go buy some. My 12 year old son and I had no problem assembling this in about an hour. I the wood is not as thick/sturdy as I had hoped. I think it will be excellent for our first 4 chickens. We will have it inside. Covered run with a water proof cover so hopefully it will last a little while. The bottom metal tray seems fragile. I hope it can withstand the weight of 4 chickens. Very easy to put together. Not very sturdy. Locks are not the most secure. There is not any plastic guard on the crease of the egg box to prevent water from entering. The perches are not useful they get knocked over easily and I have removed them. I have 4-6 chickens that use it and they love it. We shall see how it holds up to the winter but it made it well though the Texas heat this summer. For the price I would have preferred better construction. Very easy to set up. Instructions were very clear. I recommend going slow and steady with screws. The wood is more lightweight. But looks greats and will be perfect for our runner ducks. This is a great chicken coop for my 7 chicks! It went together fairly easy, and overall it's pretty sturdy! I'll probably take a couple extra measures to really predator proof it, but it's perfect for backyard chickens. My only concern is that the black asphalt roof started separating peeling off of the lip of the roof. Might just be from the hot Arizona heat, though. I do like that it has multiple access doors and it has the slide out tray for cleaning. The chicks love jumping up on the roosting bars and the chicken swing is a nice touch! It is a little small for 4 chickens, but it arrived with no damage and was fairly easy to assemble. Took 2 of us less than hour. Didn't use the wheels as I am going to put it in one place and not move it around. To use as a tractor would definitely not be big enough for 4 chickens. Simple to assemble. Lots of big pieces. Took less than an hour with me and 2 children. They handed me screws and held boards in place. Seems like good quality and has a metal roof. Two things I didn’t like was no ramp inside the coop and no perch’s for sleeping at night. I can rig something up but that defeats the purpose of buying pre fabricated. A few weeks later the hardware is staring to come loose on the doors and I’ve needed to replace the locking mechanisms.
