The award-winning Amiata pays homage to an extinct volcano of the same name—a mountain sacred to the ancient Etruscans, who favored thermal baths. Like all Victoria + Albert bathtubs, the Amiata is composed of Volcanic Limestone™, an extraordinary durable and beautiful stone. The design atelier of Meneghello Paolelli Associati was inspired by this material and the history of Mount Amiata to create a design that is neither concave or convex, but a balance of the two. Shaped to the body and made to sink deeply into comfort, the Amiata stays reminiscent of the past, while being ever present.

This tub is amazing and huge. Super heavy though and hard to get into some bathrooms. Our contractor had to remove part of a wall to get it in. And then you also have to order the drain assembly which only drives up the cost. But hopefully will last!. Jayne. CA. Fri Jun 11 2021
