At over 300 pounds, this solid stone bathtub stays firmly in place with zero wobble. Its non-porous finish resists scratches and stains. The tub is gorgeous. Make sure you use mild detergent to clean like dishwashing liquid. I used soft scrub comet and it took forever to get the lighter color film residue off. It comes in a crate and its 300 pounds so beware. I paid for the delivery service and it was no problem although the men visibly struggled to get it into my bedroom. My master is on the first floor. I couldnt imagine trying to get it up an interior stairway. Ive read some other reviews that complain of it not retaining heat. My experience is the opposite. Wayfair delivered the item in great packaging, crated in a wooden box with plenty of wrapping inside. The tub arrrived with no damage, and was installed without issue. Moving this tub is not for the faint of heart—it weighs in at more than 300 pounds, and it took three grown men to move it—so plan on help to set it in its permanent location. All in all we are very satisfied with this soaking tub. This tub is absolutely stunning and excellent quality. It has been a beautiful addition to our primary bathroom and feels incredibly solid and well made. The material is high quality, retains heat well, and our plumber said it was easy to install. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it is very heavy. The product listing says it weighs 165 lbs, but based on our experience, the actual overall weight is definitely more than that. We were able to get it up to our second floor with three men and a dolly, but it was definitely no easy feat. I would recommend being prepared for the weight when planning delivery and installation. I like that our guests like the bumps on the bottom of the tub, too, for extra safety. The bumps feel nice on the feet and body. The matching drain is lovely.
