The 60x30” classic American style solid surface freestanding resin stone soaking tub exceeded my expectations. I was shopping for a client who requested specific interior dimensions on the tub—and this beautiful, high-quality soaking tub matched her desired parameters. The finish on the tub is matte, not shiny like an acrylic or glazed cast tub. It looks like white stone. Wayfair delivered the item in great packaging, crated in a wooden box with plenty of wrapping inside. The tub arrrived with no damage, and was installed without issue. Moving this tub is not for the faint of heart—it weighs in at more than 300 pounds, and it took three grown men to move it—so plan on help to set it in its permanent location. This tub is very large and deep. The drain is high enough to get completely covered and it is long enough to lay all the way back. The material is some kind of stone so it is very heavy to move and get in place. This also gives it a cool stone feel when you’re in it. THIS tub replaced one of those horrible, huge, tubs with all the jets that builders put in homes in the 1990s. I gutted my master bath and more than doubled the size of my shower, and had this beauty installed. I wish I had considered the placement of the freestanding water faucet while the plumber was in the deep hole he had to dig to move pipes around....I placed the tub with the little lip under the faucet so some water splatters on the wall.......that was MY mistake so just a suggestion for when you put your tub in. I am used to one of the type tubs that goes in a corner with wall on 3 sides..........long and low. THIS is short and deep. Perfect soaking tub. I am 5'1 so I actually can sit and extend my legs straight out but anyone taller will have their knees up. Even so, a little water comes up on your body giving you an amazing soak. At over 300 pounds, this solid stone bathtub stays firmly in place with zero wobble. Its non-porous finish resists scratches and stains. The tub is gorgeous. Make sure you use mild detergent to clean like dishwashing liquid. I used soft scrub comet and it took forever to get the lighter color film residue off. It comes in a crate and its 300 pounds so beware. I paid for the delivery service and it was no problem although the men visibly struggled to get it into my bedroom. My master is on the first floor. I couldnt imagine trying to get it up an interior stairway. Ive read some other reviews that complain of it not retaining heat. My experience is the opposite. Great size and very comfy for those who like to take long baths. Unlike most freestanding tubs that have straight sides, the back of this tub has a slant making it very confortable to recline back. Bright white with a very glossy finish....very pretty. I gave it 4 stars only because when my plumber installed, it had 2 flex tubes at the bottom. My plumber hooked up the main tube to the ptrap, and drain perfectly, yet there was another flex tube that he could not figure out where to go with....it was for the overflow. He ended up removing it and capping and sealing it off, as it was designed to drain to the same drain as the other, so no sure why two separate tubes were there. When I called and emailed the manufacturer, I got an email with the manual, which did not help since we already referred to the manual. In any case, my plumber resolved the issue, and it drains fine.
