The tub is gorgeous. Make sure you use mild detergent to clean like dishwashing liquid. I used soft scrub comet and it took forever to get the lighter color film residue off. It comes in a crate and its 300 pounds so beware. I paid for the delivery service and it was no problem although the men visibly struggled to get it into my bedroom. My master is on the first floor. I couldnt imagine trying to get it up an interior stairway. Ive read some other reviews that complain of it not retaining heat. My experience is the opposite. At 5'3" I can comfortably sit in the tub while mostly submerged but dipping in at a shoulder level will require knees to come out of the water. Overall would absolutely recommend this tub if you're in the market for a clawfoot. Hopefully it maintains well over the years!
